No Visas are required for EU citizens. Participants from some countries may need a Schengen Visa to enter Greece and attend the Human Genome Meeting 2026.
Please check in advance with the Greek Embassy/Consulate in your country or consult the official website of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs for detailed requirements.

Invitation Letter

The HGM 2026 Secretariat will provide official invitation letters for visa purposes only to participants who have registered and paid to attend the Conference.

• Requests must be sent by email to:
• Please include the subject line: “HGM 2026 – Request for Invitation Letter – [Your Name]”
• The following information is required:
• Full name (as in passport)
• Passport number, date of issue and expiration date
• Affiliation and position
• Title of accepted paper/poster
• Proof of registration and payment

Please note:

Visa applications may take several weeks to process.

The letter is intended solely for visa application purposes and does not imply any financial support from the organizers.

Accompanying persons or family members who are not registered for the Conference cannot receive an invitation letter.
